Real Time Strategy(RTS) games

This thread is mainly to discuss about rts games. discuss abt tactics, types of games etc here ba.

i will start of first ba, i mainly play C&C games, currently playing RA3. Anyone who want challenge me in RA3 can msn me.

CnC 3 tactics...
my tactics i normally know as turtle tactics where u build up ur defence 1st, thn slowly spread ur troops ard...and expand ur base...
after that...choing ar~~...

i play CNC 0hr....my tactics are either steamroller or turtle. but turtle would normally be my strategy against AI...i dun think u would wan to play turtle wif a human...they have no patience (sigh)

steamroller and turtle u need to know how to farm...if not...die ar...hui si de heng nan kan...

i agree....if the money farming rate is high ar...can turtle...jus pray ur opponent de atk wave wont penetrate ur defence can liao

for me i dont really like to turtle. had a very bad experience once, for now i prefer to harass opponent while expanding my base fast

turtles are go going against AI de lor...no human will go turtle...they all chiongters one....whats that tactic call again ar....that tactic is a hot fav. among WCG competitiors....

i dun know...but i only know after GDI defence is up...WOOT...FTW!!!

wth is steamroller?

HAHAS all i know is build def buy troops chiong

steamroller is whereby u churn out ALOT of tanks and soldier then overwhelm ur enemy great for late games

oh yea i rmb that tactic im saying le...its call the rushing tactic

those WCG players are all fckers...all are frigging rushers

i prefer relax relax play sia. hate to rush.

usually we tell each other. 10 mins. no rush. HAHAS!

lol...late games are nice...but then very draggy will make u sian

i dont like to wait 10 mins plus then start attking, cause normally the race/type/countries i use is not gd for mass producing or late game types, thats y i prefer to harass and try to stop them from massing units

u give me 10mins...my defence will be impenetrable

sometimes can even finish a game in 10 mins against a noob lo

ya la...u already say noob wad...

cause this can help improve on my stats for RA3, so far my account got more losses then wins...

there is just too many pros online liao

they say RA3 very easy to play but ar...i start playing...i totally have no idea...how to control the A.I

u cant really control the Ai, different Ai got different tactics

some of it like to chiong while some only help to defend ur base

10 mins enuf to create around 20 emperor tank(for 0hr) and mind u, that amount alone is enuf to flatten ur base and ur def.

as for ra3...i din play cos my com sux>.< but i heard the control this time is bit complicated...

ok la, not that complicated, but must always be prepare to press "f"(if i nv rmb wrongly) to activate secondary abilities. but i dont like it when they release an expansion that is a standalone pack....

yep.. if u forget to press 'f' then good luck loh.. Kane's wrath also be stand alone pack or expansion pack.. depending how u see it.. coz it got new units in the pack, and some of them are that damn good!!

I prefer to alternate between turtle, steamroller or rusher.. coz u give me one min, i can flatten ur base with overwhelming soldiers liao.. tats what gdi is good for.. chong and die..

at least kane wraths need the nornal C&C 3 to play, ra3 expansion does not need and this pisses off all those who buy ra3

haha.. and to think i didnt bought the ra3.. now saving to buy tom clancys Endwar!! definelty mus buy.. uses microphone to issue orders to ur troops to attack or defend or move forward.. its like u are really the commander in the army giving orders on the battlefield~~ Woots~~~
